Fire Extinguisher Training

The programme of instruction includes both discussion and practice on using fire extinguishers and includes colour marking of the appliances to identify the equipment according to suitability to deal with the category of fire involved, method of operation and application to achieve extinction and practical firefighting with volunteers in each session encouraged to handle/use the equipment available.

An instruction session is of about 75 minutes’ duration and carried out by a qualified and experienced instructor. On conclusion of each session a record summarising the subject matter and duration together with names of personnel who attended signed by the instructor will be completed and issued
